WHO WE ARE

Our Story Starts Here...

Our history dates back to 1982 when the Chicago Blaze Rugby Club was formed as a result of a merger between the Windy City Nomads and the Amoco Rugby Club. The Chicago Blaze Rugby Club plays its home games at Thornley Fields in Lemont where the Chicago Blaze Clubhouse serves as both the host facility for all athletes as well as a banquet and events center for the community.

The Chicago Blaze Clubhouse routinely hosts events throughout the year for hundreds of people from all over the Midwest, including rugby tournaments, soccer tournaments, and charitable fundraisers, and has also served as a practice facility for the U.S Eagles, the national rugby team of the United States of America. Our proud and rich history can be seen throughout the Clubhouse.

We invite you to come and visit us during one of our upcoming events that is open to the public, walk around our facility or spend some time at the bar and soak up our friendly atmosphere.
